Abstract
This Act consolidates enactments related to ports and port charges, and provides for rules for the safety of shipping and conservation of ports.
The Act regulates water pollution caused by the use of oil or discharging of oil in the port waters.
The Act further regulates matters pertaining to the administration of port dues, fees and other charges and provides for offences and penalties.
