Abstract
These Rules are framed by the central government in exercise of the powers conferred by section 84 read with section 4 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984. It provides for the procedure for election of members of the Veterinary Council of India. This includes publication of notification by the central government in the gazette, preparation and publication of electoral roll, filing of nominations, polling, counting of votes and declaration of results.
