National Green Tribunal (Practices and Procedure) Rules, 2011.

These Rules are framed in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 4 read with Section 35 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010. The Rules provide for constitution of benches of the Tribunal, place of sitting, functions of Registrar, procedure for filing applications and appeals. They also provide for the procedure to be followed, fees to be paid, service of notices and other procedural matters. The amount of compensation or relief must be credited to the Environment Relief Fund. The procedure for disbursement of relief or compensation of property damaged or for restitution of environment is provided.
