Notification S.R.O.No.361/2014 on the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals.

This Notification establishes that, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 (27 of 2009), the State Government hereby appoints the veterinary practitioners registered with the State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India and working under the administrative control of Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department, Government of Odisha to be the "Veterinarians" to undertake the inspection under the said Act and specified the local limits of their respective jurisdiction to be the jurisdiction for the purpose of the said Act.
