Abstract
These Rules amend the Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules, 1954. The Rules seeks to add certain food items that were omitted in the previous rules such as corned beef, luncheon meat, cooked ham, etc., and includes the characteristics and requirements for such meats to be qualified for consumption.
