Abstract
This Ordinance amends the Sugar Development Fund Act, 1982 and the Sugar Cess Act, 1982.
The Sugar Development Fund Act, 1982 is amended by inserting a new clause after clause (bbb) in section 4, sub-section (1) on application of the funds.
The Sugar Cess Act, 1982 is amended by substituting the words “fifteen rupees” with the words “twenty-five rupees” in section 3, sub-section (1) dealing with duties of excise on all sugar produced by sugar factories.
