Abstract
This Act amends various enactments in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This includes amendment to the Uttar Pradesh Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Purchase) Act, 1953; Uttar Pradesh Protection of Trees Act, 1976; and Uttar Pradesh Ground Water (Management and Regulation) Act, 2019. The amendments relate to offences under the Acts, the penalties for such offences, the enquiry and adjudication of offences, and imposition of penalties.
