Abstract
This Act is enacted to control the slaughter of certain animals, including: bulls, bullocks, cows, calves, buffaloes, buffalo calves, castrated buffaloes. Slaughter of animal without certificate is prohibited. No animal in respect of which a certificate has been issued shall be slaughtered in any place other than a place prescribed in this behalf. The Act further makes provisions for: powers to enter and inspect premises, offences and penalties, etc.
