Abstract
These Rules are enacted in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 (Act No. 27 of 2009).
The Rules make provisions for: the form of permit to be granted by the officer in charge of a Quarantine Camp, the manner of inspection and the period of detention of an animal at a Check Post or at a Quarantine Camp, the form and manner of issue of entry permit, etc.
