Instructions No.4 of 2010 – Conditions for the import of live animals to the Kurdistan Region.

These Instructions concern the entry into the region of Kurdistan for some species of animals based on the purpose for which they are introduced. They are divided in: General Terms (related to certificates required, animal health conditions; quarantine rules; powers of Ministry of Agriculture) valid for all species; Special Terms to be added for import of cattle and buffalos, sheep and goats for breeding purposes (related to specific diseases); and Import Terms for animal slaughter, again relating to particular diseases and parasites.
