Law on Development of Tourism Industry.

The Law, which consists of 12 articles, aims to regulate provisions on development of the tourism industry, in particular of touring both inside and outside the country. To determine tourism policy and coordinate the activities of the relevant agencies, the Act establishes the High Committee of Tourism.
The Lawt requires the Custom Office to consider privileges for foreign tourists to take Iranian handicrafts to their countries. The Banks are also obliged to consider special resources for creation and development of the tourism facilities. The Ministry of Culture is the responsible authority to issue the permit for establishment of tourist offices and travel agencies.
