Statute of the National Disaster Management Organization.

The Act is the Statute of the National Disaster Management Organization as a dependent department to the Interior Ministry. The Statute consists of 15 articles divided into 4 chapters: Definitions (I); National Supreme Council of Disaster Management (II); National Disaster Management Organization (III); Miscellaneous Provisions (IV).
The Act also establishes the Supreme Council of Disaster Management to increase cooperation between relevant agencies and regulations. The main objectives of the National Disaster Organization include integration in policy making and management, monitoring and supervision, increasing research and educational programs concerning disaster management, strengthening international cooperation, improvement of the early warning systems, efficient use of national resources in management of disasters as well as development and implementation of regulations on prevention and management of disasters. The Act obliges the National Central Bank to provide adequate financial facilities for victims of natural disasters and unexpected incidents.
