Abstract
According to article 1 of this Act, the provisions of Act of 17 February 1982, No. 41, and subsequent amendments, apply also to aquaculture as provided for by Act of 5 February 1992, No. 102 and to the relevant National Association.
Amendments to Act of 17 February 1982, No. 41 regard the substitution of article 27-bis on fishing for tourism, the addition of paragraph 3 to article 27-ter on fees to be paid for the concession of marine areas belonging to the public domain.
Article 2 of the Act regulates fund allocation for the 1997-1999 Fisheries and Aquaculture National Plan implementation. In particular, paragraph 6, establishes financial measures to overcome small-scale coastal artisanal fisheries.
Article 4 amends article 172-bis of the Code of Navigation regarding embarkation and disembarkation of personnel.
