Abstract
The plant health checks referred to Ministerial Decree 31 January 1996 of plants, plant products coming from third countries, and carried out at inspection posts other than those at the place of destination, must satisfy at least the minimum conditions laid down in this Decree. The inspection posts must have, among others, technical competence, particularly in the detection and diagnosis of harmful organisms, expertise in identification of harmful organisms, or access to such expertise, access to appropriate administrative, inspection and testing facilities, access to facilities for proper storage and quarantine of consignments and, for destruction of the intercepted consignment.
