Abstract
Pursuant to Directive 2002/89/EC, this Legislative Decree lays down provisions aimed at preventing the introduction of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and their spread within the national territory. The protective measures hereby established include inspections and quarantine. They apply also to timber under the conditions specified in article 3.
