Abstract
Particular amendments are hereby laid down to Decree No. 500 of 1994 concerning infant food, so as to put it in line with the provisions contained in Directive 2003/14/EC, which has amended Directive 91/321/EEC on infant formulae and follow-on formulae. According to article 5 of Decree No. 500 of 1994, as modified by the present Decree, infant formulae and follow-on formulae shall not contain any substance in such quantity as to endanger the health of infants and young children. Annexes IX and X shall be added.
