Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers 1 August 2019 Adoption of the first excerpt of the National Plan for Interventions in the Water Sector-Aqueducts Section.

This Decree, in relation to the provisions granted by the Legislative Decree 29 December 2011, n. 229 Implementation of article 30, paragraph 9 (letters e, f and g), of the Law 31 December 2009, no. 196, regarding procedures for monitoring the state of implementation of public works, verifying the use of funding on schedule and setting up the works fund and projects fund, here adopts the first Italian National plan of interventions in the water sector, here in particular regarding the aqueducts.
In order to proceed quickly with programming and implementation of the necessary interventions to mitigate damages connected to the drought phenomenon and to promote enhancement and the adjustment of the water infrastructure, 26 different interventions are here approved and defined in financial terms.
Provisions on necessary monitoring of approved and financed interventions are laid down in article 3.
