Decree of the President of the Province No. 63 on Environmental Impact Assessment of projects and plans concerning areas which fall within the European ecological net, in implementation of Directive 92/43/EEC.

The present Decree has been adopted by the President of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano on the basis of article 6 of Directive 92/43/EEC. In accordance with that provision, for special areas of conservation the Member States shall establish the necessary conservation measures involving appropriate management plans specifically designed for the sites or integrated into other development plans. Annex A to this Decree lists out the sites of Community importance ( Nature 2000 ) which fall within the provincial territory. Annex B designates special protection zones. Annex C determines the documentation that undertakers of plans or projects to be subjected to an Environmental Impact Assessment shall submit for approval.
