Decree of the President of the Provincial Council No. 16 implementing Provincial Act No. 24 of 9 December 1991 making provision on wildlife protection and hunting.

The Decree was enacted in order to implement Provincial Act No. 24 of 9 December 1991 in matter of wildlife protection and regulating hunting in the Province of Trento. The Decree is divided into six Parts. Part I regards the territorial arrangement, in compliance with articles 6 and 7 of Provincial Act No. 49 of 1991. Part II concerns hunting management, as per Part III of Provincial Act No. 24. Part III regulates hunting on the provincial territory, taking into particular account hunting permits, hunting posts and catching programmes. Part IV lays down provisions relative to the surveillance service to be arranged in accordance with article 20 of Provincial Act No. 49. Part VI contains rules in matter of keeping of animals and marketing of certain birds.
