Abstract
The authorization required by article 12, paragraph 4 of Presidential Decree No. 187 of 2001 shall be issued by the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies. Operators that intend to produce flour and dry pasta must request the authorization to the Ministry. During export operations, enterprises concerned shall submit to the competent custom post the authorization obtained. The production of flour and pasta for export which do not meet the requirements prescribed by the provisions on internal consumption must ensure the performance of direct checks by inspection bodies (art. 4). Enterprises must keep a register on loading and unloading containing the minimum information required by article 5. The register shall in particular refer to: (a) raw materials with characteristics other than those prescribed by Presidential Decree No. 187 of 2001; (b) substances used for the production of flour and pasta that do not fulfill the conditions prescribed and intended for export.
