Abstract
This Law establishes the requirements for the protection of health of the population with regard to radioactive substances present in water intended for human consumption. In particular, it establishes the principles and regulates the methods of controlling the radioactive substances by means of indicator parameters, as well as related parameter value. Scope and exemptions are laid down in article 3 (applies to water intended for consumption human).
This text further defines the general obligations (article 4); parameter values and points where values must be respected (article 5); checks and analyzes (article 6); measures in case of non-compliance of the indicator parameters and information to the population (article 7); technical-operational indications (article 8); penalty provisions (articles 10, 11); and financial provisions (article 12).
