Ministerial Decree of 17 December 1998 on parallel import of plant protection products.

This Decree concerns the import from another European Union Member State of plant protection products, already authorized in Italy. For the placing on the market of such products an authorization has to be issued from the Italian Ministry of Health. The authorization is required when: a) the product is produced from the same industry or an industry of the same group that produces the plant protection product in Italy, b) when the imported product is identical to the one authorized in Italy. The authorization shall be granted in accordance with the conditions laid down in the European Directive 91/414.(3 articles)
