Ministerial Decree of 30 April 1996 implementing EEC Directive No. 93/60 amending EEC Directive No. 88/407 concerning sanitary measures to be applied to intra-community exchanges and to the importation of bovine frozen semen, and extending the sphere of application of the Decree to bovine fresh semen. Amendments to Presidential Decree of 1 March 1992, No. 226.

The Decree modifies the title of Decree No. 226 as follows: "Regulation for the implementation of EC Directive No. 88/407/EEC concerning sanitary measures to be applied to intra-Community exchanges and to the import of bovine semen, according also to EC Directive No. 90/120/EEC". The amendments concern, among other matters, intracommunity exchanges and testing of bull semen, and sanitary measures for the import of semen of bulls vaccinated against the foot-and-mouth disease. Articles 12 and 13 are repealed. Article 14 has been amended as follows: "The provisions of Presidential Decree of 1 March 1992, No. 226 apply to the intracommunity exchanges of semen". Annexes A, B, C, and D of Decree No. 226 are also replaced.
