Abstract
Pursuant to article 5, paragraph 5-bis of Act No. 150 of 7 February 1992, this Ministerial Decree provides for the setting up, by the Ministry of the Environment in association with the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies, of the Register for keeping animal and plant species. Both live and dead specimens of the animal and plant species referred to in Annexes A and B to Regulation (EC) No. 338/97, and parts thereof, shall be included in the Register. Article 2 specifies the natural and legal persons which are required to provide for the registration. Article 3, on the other side, indicates those who shall be exempted from such obligation. In case of infringement, the administrative sanctions laid down in article 5 (6) of Act No. 150 of 7 February 1992 shall apply.
