Abstract
The present Decree applies to the production and placing on the market of (a) non-pasteurized milk, (b) treated milk, (c) milk destined to the production of dairy products, and (d) dairy products for human consumption. It establishes quality standards of said products and hygienic requirements for their production as well as the conditions for the registration and inspections of factories. Further provisions concern inter alia: (a) transport, storage and processing of milk and dairy products; (b) inspections by the authorities of the European Commission; (c) inspections by authorized laboratories and by the National Health Authority.
