Abstract
These provisions lay down certain amendments to Regional Act No. 11 of 2004 concerning marine fisheries and aquaculture in the Marche Region. The amendments deal with the definition of “professional fishing” and the membership of the technical and scientific commission. Articles 12bis and 14bis are added. Article 12bis sets up the Regional Observatory on Fisheries Economy, whereas article 14bis sets forth further penalties to be applied to particular infringements. Moreover, article 16 of Regional Act No. 24 of 1998 is amended, taking into account the establishment of the Regional Observatory on Fisheries Economy.
