Abstract
This Regional Act regulates the interventions in the bovine meat sector in compliance with Commission Regulation No. 2000/1825/EC laying down detailed rules for the application of Regulation No. 2000/1760/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. The regional authority shall undertake the necessary measures for the following purposes: (a) promoting the elaboration of facultative labelling system; (b) encouraging the elaboration of computer systems in order to identify the origin of beef products; (c) ensuring that the consumers have suitable informations about processing systems, marketing and labelling of bovine meat; (d) supporting enterprises by adopting extraordinary financial measures. The regional authority shall undertake inspections to verify the application of this Regional Act.
