Abstract
The aim of this Regional Act, which consists of 11 articles, is the economic development of the fishery sector in the Marche Region. For the achievement of this purpose, the Act lays down a system of financial initiatives in accordance with the National Plan for Fishery and Aquaculture drawn by Act No. 41 of 17 february 1982 and subsequent amendments. As provided for by article 2 of this Act, subsidies shall be granted by the Region for the following interventions: a) aquaculture development; b) construction of installations intended for the production, conservation and transformation of fish products; c) strenghtening of fish sale; d) research and experimentation schemes. Article 3 specifies the individuals and the legal entities which may participate in the subsidies. Priority shall be given to fishery enterprises registered in the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Crafts of the Marche Region. Article 8 provides for the establishment of the Regional Technical Committee for Fishery, which shall formulate proposals and advices concerning fishery development projects.
