Abstract
Regional ornithological associations are considered as basic tools for protecting and preserving the natural and cultural values of local ornithology. The Region shall undertake initiatives related to the conservation of migratory bird species, dissemination of information regarding bird species (particularly those which are endangered) and their natural habitats. Article 2 concerns the setting up of the Regional Register of Ornithological Associations of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and sets forth the requirements to be met in order to obtain the registration.
