Regional Act No. 32 amending and supplementing Regional Act No. 20 of 2002 on the restraint of nutrias (Myocastor coypus).

This Regional Act lays down amendments and addenda to Regional Act No. 20 of 2002 on the restraint of nutrias. Firstlt the title is amended by including “erradication”, which hereinafter is the aim of these provisions. The objective is to protect agro-forestry production against this animal species which is considered to be harmful. As from 2015 the regional authority shall be responsible for elaborating and adopting a regional programme for ensuring the eradication of nutrias in the Lombardia territory.
