Regional Act No. 68 amending Regional Act No. 16 of 22 March 1999 on the gathering and marketing of spontaneous mushrooms

This Regional Act lays down amendments and addenda to Regional Act No. 16 of 1999 in matter of gathering and placing on the market of spontaneous mushrooms. The following are hereby modified: articles 2 (1) and 2 (3) ; article 4 relative to the total allowable catch applicable to residents; articles 5 and 6 concerning personal and touristic authorizations respectively; article 8 establishing the fee to be paid in order to obtain the authorization; article 13 (1) which prohibits the gathering of the species referred therein; articles 23 and 25 on offences and related penalties. Article 1 bis, the text of which is contained in article 1 (2) of this Act, shall be inserted. This new provision specifies the circumstances under which the gathering authorization shall not be required. Moreover, in accordance with new article 17 (2), the Provinces, Mountain Communities as well as the Communes may organize educational and informative initiatives in this field.
