Regional Regulation No. 5 implementing Regional Act No. 17 of 26 March 1993.

This Regulation lays down the criteria to be followed for implementing Regional Act No. 17 of 26 March 1993, which has established the Regional Register of cattle and farming enterprises. Article 2 concerns the registration of cattle and the updating of the above-mentioned Register, which shall be connected as well with the database and the genealogical book referred therein. Article 3, on the other hand, makes detailed provision in matter of marking of bovines, ovines and caprines. Within thirty days from the date of birth of such animals, the passports specified by article 4 shall be issued for the purpose of identification.
