Regional Regulation No. 9 implementing Regional Act No. 12 of 30 July 2001 laying down provisions on the improvement and protection of fish population and regarding fishing in internal waters of the Lombardia Region.

This Regulation lays down implementing provisions in respect of Regional Act No. 12 of 2001 in matter of inland fisheries in the Lombardia Region. The Regulation makes rules in particular regarding: (a) fishing periods and hours, permitted fishing gear, minimum sizes and total allowable catches referring to sport fishing, professional fishing and underwater fishing (Title II); (b) fishing in waters classified into type B; (c) prohibited fishing periods; and (d) types of fishing licences and related issuance procedures and requirements.
