Abstract
This Order, consisting of 2 articles, amends the original Act by replacing three schedules. The First Schedule lists endangered species threatened with extinction. The Second Schedule lists species that could become extinct or that need to be effectively controlled. The Third Schedule lists species that a contracting party regulates within its own jurisdiction to prevent or restrict over-exploitation, requiring cooperation from other parties to control their trade. All of these new schedules must be read and interpreted in accordance with the provisions included in their respective appendices.
