Abstract
This Act provides for amending provisions of the Trade Marks Act, no. 25 of 2001. The amendments concern: insertion of new definitions; provisions concerning the use of a registered trade mark; registration of a trade mark; application for a declaration of invalidity; penalties and offences. The Act also amends the Trade Marks Rules, Legal Notice no. 127 of 2001, by replacing definitions and adding new provisions concerning procedural irregularities; registration; legal proceedings; insertion of new categories in the classification of goods, including: services for providing food and drink; veterinary services; hygienic and beauty care for human beings and animals; agricultural services.
