Abstract
The Regulation for Enforcement of the Sustainable Aquaculture Production Assurance Act (Act No. 51 of 1999) was established under Article 2, paragraph (2), Article 4, paragraph (2), item (v), and Article 6, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Sustainable Aquaculture Production Assurance Act and also in order to enforce said Act. The Regulation deals with specified diseases set forth in Article 2, paragraph (2) of the Sustainable Aquaculture Production Assurance Act are the infectious diseases stated in the right column of the appended table that correspond to the species of aquatic animals and plants stated in the left column. The notification specified in Article 7-2, paragraph (1) of the Act must contain specific information and must be sent in written or delivered orally stating: 1. Names and addresses of the owner and manager of the farm-raised aquatic animal or plant; 2. Type of the specified disease that the farm-raised aquatic animal or plant has actually or possibly contracted; 3. Species of the farm-raised aquatic animal or plant; 4. Location of the farm-raised aquatic animal or plant; 5. Date of detecting that the farm-raised aquatic animal or plant has actually or possibly contracted a specified disease and the conditions of the disease at the time of detection; and 6. Any other important matters.
