Dairy Industry (Imports and Exports) Regulations, 2021. Legal Notice no. 21/2021.

These Regulations, made under the Dairy Industry Act, 2006, apply to imports and exports of dairy produce and aim at: providing proper procedure for importing and exporting dairy products; ensuring that dairy produce imports and exports meet relevant standards; protecting the Kenyan dairy industry against unfair trade practices; supporting government effort to guarantee food security and self-sufficiency.
Matters covered by the Regulations concern: relevant terms definition; issue of import and export permits and penalties related to; conditions for grant of permit and compliance with relevant standards.
