Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the sale of dairy produce by milk producers (as defined) except under and in accordance with a valid current licence issued by the Kenya Dairy Board. A licence shall not be required for produce distributed on the property on which it was produced or sold to or through a prescribed agent. The Board shall, in considering an application, take into account the interests of consumers and other producers in the area in respect of which the application is made. The Board may refuse a licence if the producer's standard of efficiency is unsatisfactory.
