Mining (Dealings in Minerals) Regulations, Legal Notice no. 88 of 2017.

These Regulations, made under provisions of sections 100 and 223(1) of the Mining Act, no. 12 of 2016, apply to: the export of a mineral by a holder of a mining right; the removal of minerals for the purposes of sampling or analysis; the holder of a mineral dealer's licence or dealer's permit; the import of minerals. Matters covered by these Regulations include: application for dealing in minerals; application for minerals dealer's trading licence; rights and obligations of a holder of a mineral dealer's trading licence; application for an export permit and related qualifications; sales of minerals by holders of artisanal mining permits; dealing in strategic minerals.
