National Cereals and Produce Board Regulations, 1989 (Cap. 338).

These Regulations implement provisions of the National Cereals and Produce Board Act in respect of, among other things: certification of the appointment of an agent by the National Cereals and Produce Board; limitations and conditions for registration of millers under section 19(3) of the Act; the duty of a registered miller to keep records of all purchases, acquisitions, millings, sales and disposals by him or her of maize, wheat or scheduled agricultural produce; the form of written authority without which, by virtue of subsection (1) of section 18 of the Act, no person may import or export any maize, wheat or scheduled agricultural produce; the requirement to make an application for persons wishing to obtain authority to export or import maize, wheat or scheduled agricultural produce; fees for import and export permits; such returns, reports and estimates to be submitted by every producer, distributor and retailer to the Board; and returns by licensed millers. The Regulations also define offences.
