Abstract
This Act grants powers to the Minister to issue Rules relative to the importation, landing, loading, shipping, transport and storage of petroleum and for purposes of introducing the requirement of a licence for such activities. Petroleum shall not be imported, unloaded, landed, loaded, transhipped, transported or kept save in accordance with rules made under this Act. The occupier of any premises in which petroleum is kept in contravention of any Rules made under this Act shall be guilty of an offence. The Act declares contravention of Rules relative to (marine) transportation and other activities involving petroleum to be an offence.
