Abstract
These Regulations, made under section 30 of the State Corporation Act, concern control of performance by state corporations. They define powers and responsibilities of the Boards of State Corporations and require the parent Minister to supervise corporations on the basis of performance targets, which a the state corporation shall submit to the Minister, and the implementation of which by the state corporation the Minister is required to negotiate with the state corporation. Unsatisfactory performance by a corporation may lead to removal of the director of the corporation. The Inspector-General (Corporations) shall evaluate performance of state corporations and the Minister shall submit the results of evaluation of state corporations to the controller and auditor-general, the National Assembly and the President.
