Abstract
This Act provides rules for the establishment, administration, management and operation of state corporations. It also establishes the State Corporations Advisory Committee and the State Corporations Appeal Tribunal and provides for the appointment of an Inspector-General (Corporations).
The President may, by Order, establish a state corporation as a body corporate to perform the functions specified in the Order. The President shall assign ministerial responsibility for any state corporation to the Vice-President and Ministers as the President may determine. The President may also give directions of a general or specific nature to a board of a state corporation.
