Abstract
Every person who imports or exports sugar shall apply for a certificate of registration to be issued by the Kenya Sugar Board. Forms of application are set out in the Schedule. The Board shall maintain a register of all importers and exporters of sugar which are registered in accordance with these Regulations. The Board shall determine annually the amount of refined sugar required by manufacturers and for the domestic market. The Board shall, on the basis of its estimate invite tenders or offers for auction from importers. Every registered importer or exporter shall make returns in the manner as prescribed in the Schedule. (8 regulations completed by a Schedule).
