Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Para-professionals Regulations, 2013 (L.N. No. 48 of 2011).

These Regulations, made under section 45 of the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Para-professionals Act, 2011, concern election of the Kenya Veterinary Board and specifie functions of the Board with respect to registration of veterinary surgeons, licensed veterinary surgeons, veterinary technologists-degree holders, veterinary technologists-diploma holders, breeding service providers, veterinary technicians, approved animal health training institutions and other specified veterinary professionals and institutions. The Regulations, among other things, also establish the Veterinary Inspectorate, provide with respect to inspection, specify standards for standards for a veterinary clinical centres, veterinary hospitals, ambulatory services, veterinary laboratories, and establish a Disciplinary Committee.
