West Pokot County Climate Change Fund Regulations, Legal Notice no. 1 of 2022.

The object of these Regulations is to define the procedures for management, operations and winding up of the Fund, and for planning of climate change response interventions to be funded by the Fund. The Regulations are inspired by the following principles: protection of the right to live in a clean and healthy environment; transparent and accountable management of financial and other resources; facilitating community-based and community-initiated adaptation and mitigation activities; improving public participation. Matters covered by these Regulations include: object and purposes of the Fund; mobilisation of the Fund; expenditure of the Fund; functions of the Fund administrator; financial reporting procedures; allocation of Fund to wards; development of project proposals; financial reporting.
