Governmental Decree No. 192 validating the Regulation on the procedure for management and disposal of the state forest fund.

This Governmental Decree defines the rules for the management and disposal of the state forest fund in the Kyrgyz Republic and applies to natural persons and legal entities engaged in forest management. The following types of forest use shall be authorized on the land of the state forest fund: (a) agriculture, mowing, grazing of livestock, placement of apiaries, collection of wild non-timber forest products, medicinal plants, technical raw materials; (b) harvesting of secondary forest resources; (c) reproduction of forest resources, afforestation and reforestation practices; (d) forest use for research, cultural, recreational, and tourist purposes, as well as for of hunting; (e) performance of works for the purpose of developing mineral deposits (geological study and exploration of the subsoil, development of mineral deposits); (f) use of waterbodies; and (g) community forest management.
