Governmental Decree No. 376 validating the Regulation on issuance of phytosanitary, re-export phytosanitary and quarantine certificates.

The scope of this Governmental Decree shall be to prevent introduction and spreading on the national territory of pests and, for such purpose, to apply phytosanitary supervision plants, parts thereof, seeds and planting materials, packaging materials, soil, organisms and other materials subject to quarantine inspection. Only produce complying with quarantine phytosanitary requirements shall be authorized for introduction to the national territory. Each lot of produce representing high risk and subject to quarantine inspection shall be accompanied by either phytosanitary certificate or by re-export phytosanitary certificate. Import and transit of produce subject to quarantine inspection shall be authorized through phytosanitary border checkpoints.
