Abstract
The present Law establishes legal basis, the modalities of setting up and functioning of peasant farms, their rights and obligations, and is aimed at creation of the conditions for their equal development together with other forms of economic activity. Peasant farm is an economic entity based mainly upon personal work of a household producing jointly with relatives and other members agricultural commodities on a plot of agricultural pertaining to a peasant far on condition of ownership or lease. The Law consists of 15 Articles. Article 1 gives definition of peasant farm. Article 2 regards setting up and registration of peasant farm. Article 3 deals with general meeting of peasant farm. Article 4 concerns the head of peasant farm. Article 5 determines the rights of peasant farm. Article 6 determines the obligations of peasant farm. Article 7 deals with management of natural resources. Article 8 regards ownership (property) of peasant farm. Article 9 regards cessation of the right to the plot of land pertaining to peasant farm. Article 10 regards taxation of peasant farm. Article 11 regards relationship between the state and peasant farm. Article 12 regards relationship between peasant farm and legal and natural persons. Article 13 regards division of property of peasant farm. Article 14 regards reorganization and liquidation of peasant farm. Article 15 regards enactment of the present Law.
