Law No. 6 “On protection of public health”.

This Law establishes legal, economic and social grounds for the protection of public health which includes ecological, sanitary and hygienic protection measures and arrangements, ensuring the right to healthy environment and prevention of negative environmental impact. Basic principles of state policy in the sphere protection of public health shall be as follows: (a) safeguarding the right to protection of human health; (b) public participation in the protection of human health; and (c) liability of public officials for lack of, or insufficient quality, medical and sanitary assistance.
